Women's Black Sticks veteran Liz Thompson believes some new talent could be just what's needed to get the side into form

Women's Black Sticks veteran Liz Thompson believes some new talent could be just what's needed to get the side into form

A group of 40 players will go into a selection camp starting today to help determine the squad for the year, which will contest the women's world cup and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

They're looking to improve upon an early exit from last year's Tokyo Olympics.

Thompson says it's the first time the players will come together in 2022.
