National's defying Parliament's Speaker by refusing to take down from the Internet what Trevor Mallard says are attack ads

National's defying Parliament's Speaker by refusing to take down from the Internet what Trevor Mallard says are attack ads

Mallard ordered their removal by five o'clock tonight but National's refused, risking being held in contempt of Parliament.

But shadow House leader Gerry Brownlee says Mallard's acting like a censor and is setting himself up as a Judge over what's advertising and what's not.

Brownlee disagrees with Mallard that it's advertising saying their postings on Facebook are just a reasonable dissemination of comment that's been made in Parliament.
