Cleaner air for stench-drenched school children on Christchurch's east side

Cleaner air for stench-drenched school children on Christchurch's east side

The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation has gifted 40 air purifiers to Bromley School - which is giving them to families with kids who have respiratory issues.

People claim to have headaches, difficulty concentrating, upset stomachs and worsening asthma symptoms due to the smell.

Principal Scot Kinley says the ongoing air quality issues has taken a toll on everyone over the past 18 months.

He says it's been hard on a lot of families wellbeing.
