    Another bout of heavy rain's expected in Westland - with Emergency Management teams standing by


    Orange warnings run from south of Hokitika - to Fiordland's George Sound.

    They also apply to Tasman northwest of Motueka, parts of Marlborough and Buller - and as far north as Mount Taranaki.

    It comes with a warning strong wind and heavy rain will hit the top of the South Island, Wellington, Taranaki and Northland this evening.

    Police are asking motorists to take extra care while driving.
