There's less than two weeks left in New Zealand's cruise ship season, with the last ship into Wellington arriving today

The Majestic Princess will bring three-and a half-thousand passengers into the capital.

All up, almost 200-thousand visitors from around the world have arrived into Wellington this season, bringing about 50-million dollars into the local economy.

Wellington NZ Tourism Manager Jo Heaton says numbers are finally starting to bounce back to pre-pandemic levels.

She says while we're not quite back at pre-Covid levels, there has clearly been pent up demand.
