    The updated public health guidelines for children, are being described as a pragmatic move forward


    Kids with a mild cough, headache or runny nose can go to class -- as long as they don't have Covid-19 or other symptoms like fever or diarrhoea.

    General Practitioners Chair Bryan Betty says this clarification for minor illness, will help parents come back to normal from the pandemic.

    He says if a child shows respiratory symptoms linked to Covid-19 or a flu, they should still stay at home.
