Wayne Bennett has confirmed he is interested in a return to the Rabbitohs, as South Sydney go all-in on pursuing the seven-time NRL premiership-winning coach

Wayne Bennett has confirmed he is interested in a return to the Rabbitohs, as South Sydney go all-in on pursuing the seven-time NRL premiership-winning coach

Bennett was the sacked Jason Demetriou's predecessor, guiding the Rabbitohs to a narrow grand final loss against Penrith in his final season in charge in 2021.

The 74-year-old is due to step down at the Dolphins at the end of the season and hand the reins to Kristian Woolf.

Australian media are reporting Bennett has informed the Dolphins he is interested in speaking to the Rabbitohs.
