A reminder to not put 111 on your prank call list

A reminder to not put 111 on your prank call list

Police were called to an address on Takanini's Cunningham Place before 9.30 last night, after a firearms incident was reported.

After arriving they found nothing had happened.

A 29-year-old woman has been charged with using a phone for fictitious purposes and will appear in the Papakura District Court today.

Counties Manukau South Area Commander, Inspector Joe Hunter says they're incredibly frustrated over the situation, as they take any incident involving firearms seriously.
