Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn Spears has marked their mum's 69th birthday amid the singer's alleged hotel bust-up drama

'Zoey 101' actress Jamie, 33, paid tribute to her mother Lynne Spears, who turned 69 on 4 May, with an Instagram Story post days after 'Toxic' singer Britney, 42, sparked fears for her mental health after being snapped barefoot and dressed only in her underwear coming out of the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles looking distraught and bleary eyed as she was escorted to emergency services on Thursday (02.05.24) morning

Jamie - who is thought to have reunited with Britney in 2022 after years of estrangement - said in her birthday post: "Happy birthdayto my beautiful mama. She has a childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does and we are so blessed to have her."

Lynne appeared to have spent her birthday in Los Angeles as she was seen arriving at LAX late on Friday (03.05.24).

She told photographers at the time she would always support Britney, declaring:

"(I'll be there for her) no matter what."

Lynne travelled to LA a day after Britney bizarrely blamed her mum for the incident at the Chateau.

The singer made headlines when she was snapped stumbling out of the Chateau Marmont topless, barefoot and wrapped in a blanket, wearing only white underwear, as she was escorted to emergency workers.

Multiple reports said she was involved in a fight with her rumoured ex-boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz, but Britney took to social media to share an image of a severely swollen ankle and insisted that is the only reason paramedics were called.

She was not taken to hospital, and hours after the incident sources said she was "safe" at home and doing "fine".

Britney said on Instagram she hadn't fought with Paul and claimed paramedics showed up at her door "illegally".

Turning on her mum, she said Lynne had "set her up", raging in a separate post: "I know my mom was involved !!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!!

"I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can't stand her !!! I honestly don't care I will say it (thumbs up and shrugging emojis.) !!

Sources have said in the wake of the hotel incident Britney should have been keep under her controversial conservatorship deal, which was ended in November 2021 after 13 years of her dad controlling her money and personal life.
