More than one thousand qualifications will be given out at Lincoln University's biggest graduation to date in Christchurch today

More than one thousand qualifications will be given out at Lincoln University's biggest graduation to date in Christchurch today

It's the highest number in the university's 146-year long history, and a 35 percent increase on last year's graduation.

Student enrolments have skyrocketed at Lincoln in the last five years - with the population on track to break five thousand by the end of the year.

Vice-chancellor Grant Edwards says more students are wanting to take up the qualifications they offer, which have high employment outcomes.

Two ceremonies will be held at Christchurch's Town Hall today.
