Words of warning for businesses relying on the wage subsidy

Words of warning for businesses relying on the wage subsidy

    6 July 2020
The subsidy extension will end about three weeks before the election - and businesses who can show a 40 per cent drop in revenue can qualify.

However, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says we need to exit the wage subsidy at some point.

She says if businesses are still seeing that kind of decline in revenue -- they need to start thinking about where their market is, pivot their business and start reorienting themselves.
