Auckland Mayoral hopefuls team say if they win another term, they will continue their mission to 'Fix Auckland'

Auckland Mayoral hopefuls team - Wayne Brown and Desley Simpson - say if they win another term, they will continue their mission to 'Fix Auckland'

Simpson has endorsed Brown for the mayoralty in October's election, and has ruled running against him, ending months of speculation.

Brown believes Simpson wasn't thinking about running at all.

But he says their focus is working together.

He says she was possibly set to retire, but will now stand alongside him, to help fix Auckland's economy.
