New Zealand Rugby are happy to acknowledge their reasons for giving Eden Park half of the All Blacks' home tests in 2026

New Zealand Rugby are happy to acknowledge their reasons for giving Eden Park half of the All Blacks' home tests in 2026

Just four matches will be held on Kiwi shores next season - two of those being awarded to Auckland.

Christchurch's new One NZ Stadium hosts the opening test against France, while the match against Italy is in Wellington.

NZR head of professional rugby Chris Lendrum says it's always tough deciding on hosts for the home tests.

Lendrum stresses the likes of Dunedin and Hamilton will have opportunities in the future.
