    Golfer Rory McIlroy is trumpeting his Open Championship prospects after blitzing up the leaderboard in the penultimate round at Royal Portrush


    The 2014 champion's five-under par 66 has him in a tie for fourth at eight-under, six shots off leader Scottie Scheffler.

    McIlroy's been asked about his prospects on the final day.



    Scheffler leads by four shots at 14-under.
