    Police have arrested a patched Head Hunter after a fleeing driver pursuit across west Auckland last night


    Officers stopped a stolen car on Titirangi Road, which reversed into a Police car then sped towards Avondale.

    Police laid out spikes in Avondale, but the car continued on rims on the Northwestern Motorway, before exiting and smashing through the gate of a Mount Roskill school.

    Officers recovered a loaded crossbow and several arrows in the car.

    A 37-year-old driver's appearing in Waitakere District Court on multiple charges today.
