Another Great Walk for New Zealand

Another Great Walk for New Zealand

The 60-kilometre Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track in Fiordland - has become the 11th route to get the high status.

The loop takes hikers along New Zealand's south-west coast, through diverse landscapes, including beaches, seascapes, native forest, and an alpine section.

Conservation Minister, Tama Potaka, says having Great Walk status will make it more of a drawcard for Kiwis and international visitors.
