    A man-hunt is underway, after the death of a young man in Hamilton


    Police were called to an altercation, reportedly involving two groups on Alexandra Street just after midnight.

    A 20-year-old man died after being taken to hospital - another three victims have moderate to serious injuries.

    Detective Sergeant Reece Durston, says they're working to find those involved, including the offender.

    Alexandra Street is currently cordoned off between Collingwood and Hood streets, and the road is expected to remain closed today.
