The Government's replacing the hefty legislation with two new laws - one based around planning, and the other on the environment.
The new laws will cut consent and permit numbers by 46-percent, and speed up those still required.
Changes also allow people to claim regulatory relief, if they're negatively affected by council planning decisions.
Act leader David Seymour says it's a gamechanger.
He's encouraging people to engage and submit on the changes.
