A match-winning try on debut for All Blacks hooker Brodie McAlister

A match-winning try on debut for All Blacks hooker Brodie McAlister

The Chiefs and Canterbury rake dotted down late in the 29-19 win over France, finishing off a Jordie Barrett break with a early dive for the try-line to clinch the win.

McAlister - All Black number 1229 - says it was a tactical dive.

Elsewhere, the Lions have won their opening test against the Wallabies 27-19 in Brisbane, while the Springboks have concluded their July test window with a 55-10 win over Georgia.
