Compensation's potentially on the cards should Jevon McSkimming's alleged sexual assault victim, take legal action

A scathing IPCA report highlights past failures by senior Police staff, who didn't investigate allegations against the former Deputy Commissioner.
The complainant was then charged with harassment, however this has since been dropped.
Retired Barrister Gary Gotlieb says the IPCA's findings are critical, and the victim may be able to sue.
He says if misconduct in public office is found, she may have a civil claim.
But Gotlieb says these things don't happen quickly, and he believes there's plenty to still come out of the woodwork.
