Children from a Christchurch daycare where some were burnt by chemicals accidentally put on a waterslide - are back at the centre today

Kitchen steriliser detergent ended up on a slip-and-slide at Ferry Road's Kindercare, in Woolston, on Friday.

Five children and two adults were taken to hospital - and discharged over the weekend.

    Worksafe has launched an investigation.

    Kindercare has apologised.

It says it's supporting families and staff - and will work co-operatively with Worksafe and the Ministry of Education.
