Long-time Kiwi Fern Honey Hireme is heralding the introduction of a women's NRL all-stars game, featuring a New Zealand Maori side

Men's and women's Maori teams will face Australian indigenous sides in a
double-header in Melbourne next February.
Hireme says there a lot of young Maori women playing rugby league now.
Honey Hireme will play for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the first year
of the women's NRL.
