The New Zealand men's hockey team can take a major step towards winning their pool at the World Cup in India overnight

The Black Sticks face Olympic champions Argentina after both sides won their opening pool matches.

Only the pool winners advance directly through to the quarter finals.

Midfielder Shea McAleese says they've done their homework on the Argentines who are expert penalty corner takers.

He says they've probably watched the last 500 corners they've taken world wide and have a good idea to know what they are going to do.

The match gets underway at 2-30 tomorrow morning.
