The Garden City has had plenty of rain in the last month, while there was also a deluge of it on Saturday.

The test begins on Boxing Day.
Meanwhile rain has seen play abandoned in today's men's and women's domestic Twenty20 matches between Auckland and Wellington at the Eden Park Outer Oval
