Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has pushed past a broken board to claim gold in the snowboard slopestyle at the US Open

The win sees the Kiwi clinch the triple crown in the sport, having already won the X-Games and world championships this year.

Sadowski-Synnott says she damaged her preferred board on the second run, but luckily already knew she'd won heading into her third.

She says new boards make a big difference.
