New Zealand is stepping up its help in Samoa's ongoing measles outbreak, sending more medical supplies and personnel today

That includes a third rotation of the emergency medical assistance team, more nurse vaccinators, up to 15 intensive care specialists, and Samoan-speaking doctors and nurses.
The government is also funding a further 100 thousand measles and rubella vaccines, and a machine to help meet unprecedented demand for oxygen.
Foreign Minister Winston Peters says New Zealand is also looking to provide psychological support for health workers.
