(Newstalk ZB) Political editor Barry Soper says the party's had a rough year, highlighted by the way it's handled sex scandals, one of which is still under investigation.
He says the session where this is likely to be addressed will focus this morning on creating a safe and inclusive party, and will be closed to the media.
So the only segment for public consumption will be the address by the Finance Minister Grant Robertson which Soper says will be more back patting than policy.
