Counties Manukau Health is thanking the public for their support after the Whakaari White Island eruption

Out of the eight patients remaining in Middlemore, three are in intensive care and five are in the National Burns Centre.
The Middlemore Foundation made an appeal last month for donations to help support patients in the burns centre.
Chief medical officer Dr Peter Watson says he thanks people for their patience after numerous procedures were postponed.
He says the support is much appreciated from the burns victims, their families and hospital staff.
Before Christmas, the DHB predicted more than six-hundred surgeries could be postponed by the end of January because of the added workload.
