The 67-year-old former producer, who was once one of Hollywood's most powerful men, hobbled into court for the start of his rape trial today, with the assistance of a walker.
But US Correspondent Nick Bryant says it will be a while before any evidence is heard in the trial, because it will be difficult to find jurors who haven't been influenced by the media.
