The man, who has name suppression, has pleaded not guilty to charges of indecent assault and sexual violation.
The allegations date from wrap parties for film and TV productions between 2007 and 2014.
Crown prosecutor Hannah Clark has said in her opening address the man works in a very specific sector of the industry, meaning people had to work with him.
