The Niners have beaten the Green Bay Packers 37-20 in the NFC championship game, earning their first conference title since 2012.
General manager John Lynch joined the team in 2017 to help end a stretch of losing seasons, and says he and coach Kyle Shanahan have trusted eachother since day one.
The 49ers will battle the Kansas City Chiefs for the Lombardi Trophy, after they beat the Tennessee Titans 35-24 in the AFC title game.
