Two New Zealanders have been jailed for their role in a multi-million dollar drug ring in Australia

Two New Zealanders have been jailed for their role in a multi-million dollar drug ring in Australia

29-year-old Steen McBeth and 28-year-old Jackson Li used the dark web to smuggle drugs into Victoria, and mailed them out to customers in children's toys and cushions.

They admitted importing and trafficking cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine and other drugs into the country for eight months in 2017.

McBeth has been jailed for seven years, with a minimum non-parole period of four years, and will be deported back to New Zealand when he completes his sentence.

Li has been jailed for six years, with a minimum non-parole period of three years and six months, and is also facing deportation.
