Ten people have been arrested and up to five million dollars worth of drugs seized in 'Operation Mystic'.
Police believe the syndicate's imported more than a tonne of methamphetamine, MDMA, cocaine and ephedrine.
National Organised Crime Group detective inspector, Paul Newman, says New Zealand Police called in international connections.
He says it shows the Police's ability to identify people off shore, and bring them to justice.
