The Super Rugby side has been struck down with the illness with several players and staff missing last week's loss to the Highlanders.
Players must prove immunisation or have spent at least five days in isolation after the onset of infection before being permitted to travel to Hamilton for Saturday's game.
In other changes to the Brumbies side hooker Folau Fainga'a is out with a toe injury while former Chiefs wing Toni Pulu is set to come off the bench.
