Chiefs coach Warren Gatland's reacted to his side's shock defeat to the Brumbies by making a number of changes for Friday's Super Rugby match against the Waratahs in Wollongong

Chiefs coach Warren Gatland's reacted to his side's shock defeat to the Brumbies by making a number of changes for Friday's Super Rugby match against the Waratahs in Wollongong

A mix of injuries and rest sees eight changes from the loss before the bye, but is balanced by returns to loose forward Lachlan Boshier and halfback Brad Weber.

The Crusaders will be without one of their vice-captains when the 10-time champions welcome the Reds on Friday night.

Fullback David Havili has been ruled out after battling a knee injury before the bye against the Highlanders.

Kiwi Paul Coll has won through to the final of squash's Windy City Open in Chicago.

Coll, fresh off knocking out the world number one in the quarters, has seen off world number four Karim Abdel Gawad in the semis in four games.

The ICC has rejected Cricket Australia's plea for reserve days to be added for the women's Twenty20 World Cup semi-finals, despite heavy rain bearing down on Sydney.
