Covid-19 threatens to disrupt New Zealand's medication supply

Pharmac warns ongoing global quarantines may slow down manufacturing plants and impact transportation and ports.
Director of Operations Lisa Williams says most suppliers have contingency plans in place - and they're working with those who don't.
She says managing shortages will include temporarily restricting dispensing volumes.
All Pharmac suppliers are required to keep at least two months worth of medication within the country.
