In a triumph for the increasing popularity of women's cricket, an MCG crowd of 86,174 has watched Australia crush India by 85 runs in the T20 World Cup final

The hosts posted 184 for four batting first, with openers Beth Mooney making 78 and Alyssa Healy 75 on International Women's Day.
Organisers had hoped to fill the venue and top the record crowd for a women's sporting event set when 90,185 people watched the 1999 World Cup football final in California.
It was still the largest crowd for a women's cricket match.
