Air New Zealand has had a flurry of enquiries from customers wanting to change their flights, before the restrictions kick in at midnight tonight.
Customers with international flights - due to depart up until the 31st of March, will be eligible to hold the value of their fare in credit for twelve months from the time of purchase, receive a refund, or amend the date of their flight without being charged.
The airline is also asking for anyone purchasing domestic tickets, to consider purchasing flexible fares.
It says due to the high number of customer enquiries, it's asking only those who are due to travel in the next 48 hours, to get in touch today.
