The airline's pulling the plug on its Buenos Aires route now, rather than at the end of the month, due to local restrictions for travel into Argentina.
Last night's flight back to Auckland will be Air New Zealand's final South American service, at least until the end of June.
The company says this is a rapidly evolving and challenging situation.
Meanwhile, Air New Zealand's London-based cabin crew will operate their final service on the route tomorrow out of Los Angeles.
