Fashion and footwear stores are on the back foot as Kiwis change their spending habits

Essential items such as toilet paper, canned food and cleaning products have been the top priority during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Retail NZ chief executive Greg Harford says some fashion and shoe stores have seen a significant drop in sales.
He says retailers are finding it tough to continue trading during this period - with low income levels.
