Canterbury University lectures and tutorials are moving online from today.
This follows Auckland University suspending classes and Massey cutting face-to-face classes that can be taught remotely.
As of yesterday , all AUT teaching and assessments are suspended for one week.
Victoria Uni says students with compromised immune systems or underlying health conditions must self isolate.
Otago University is temporarily moving some of its courses online, while Lincoln Uni is pulling the plug on classes of more than 100.
