    The NRL has announced it will pay a total of 40-million dollars in monthly grants to its clubs between April and October to help keep them financially afloat during the Covid-19 Pandemic

    The NRL has announced it will pay a total of 40-million dollars in monthly grants to its clubs between April and October to help keep them financially afloat during the Covid-19 Pandemic


    The organisation itself will reduce operating costs by 53-percent, including a 95-percent reduction in staffing levels.

    A funding model for player payments has been put to the game's players association, which will be put to its members for consideration.
