Covid-19 testing in New Zealand has ramped up

Today, there are nine new cases and no deaths - taking the combined total of confirmed and probable cases to one-thousand-470.
Yesterday, there were five thousand-966 tests completed - taking the total number of tests to more than 120 thousand.
Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says people should not delay seeking care for any health needs, through phoning Healthline or through their GP.
He says all Kiwis need to maintain a high level of vigilance in level four as we move to level three.
