A Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for Westland, Buller and Nelson, including the Richmond Range, and now includes Taranaki, Tongariro and the Kaimanawa Range, and the eastern Bay of Plenty Ranges.
A Strong Wind Warning remains in force for the Canterbury High Country.
In addition to the Warnings, Watches for northerly gales remain in force for Marlborough, Wellington, southern Wairarapa, and Taranaki, also Taihape and the Whanganui hill country.
Watches for heavy rain remain in force for Northland, also the hill country from Waitomo to Whanganui and the rest of the central high country.
Watches for heavy rain are now in force for the Westland Ranges, the Tararua Range and Kapiti Coast tomorrow.
