The Warriors have confirmed two players have stayed in Auckland as the rest of the team settles in to Tamworth in New South Wales.
Centre David Fusitu'a delayed his departure on compassionate grounds.
Hooker Nathaniel Roache told the team he was feeling unwell, and was subsequently tested and told not to go to the airport.
Club CEO Cameron George says Roache has not been in contact with other players or staff.
The were given permission to base themselves in Australia by the Australian Government to help with the NRL's resumption.
