The country's largest furniture and homewares retailer retailer will open its doors tomorrow... in what's being described as a significant boost for the local economy

The new 60 million dollar, 27 thousand square metre Nido store in West Auckland will carry more than 10 thousand product lines and create 180 jobs for retail workers.

Managing director Vinod Kumar says hundreds of containers of products arrived before covid-19 - so there will be full shelves when they open.

He says for those outside of Auckland, they will eventually offer online shopping.
