A big day in the dairy farming calendar

A big day in the dairy farming calendar

Today is Moving Day - where dairy farming families, sharemilkers, contract milkers and employees move to new farms to start new jobs.

Dairy NZ chief executive Tim Mackle says they're expecting about five thousand families to be shifting this year.

He says they're pleased we're in alert level two as it makes things a bit more straightforward - but they've got checklists to make sure people take the right precautions.
