A global survey has revealed alcohol consumption went down, during covid-19 lockdowns

30 percent of those in a survey of more than 11-thousand people across nine countries, including New Zealand, said they had reduced or stopped drinking.
NZ Alcohol Beverages Council Executive Director, Bridget MacDonald says she wasn't too surprised by the results.
She says it's because research shows as a nation, 80 percent of Kiwis are moderate drinkers.
