A player strike could derail Super Rugby Australia, just over a week before kick off

The Daily Telegraph reports Australia's professional rugby players have rejected a new wage cut proposal by Rugby Australia, and earlier this week suggested sitting out the domestic competition.
Melbourne Rebels players have even talked about not boarding their flight to Canberra tomorrow.
Having already taken a 60 percent cut until the end of September, players have been asked to accept a further 40 percent cut after that.
The players have said they're only prepared to accept an average 20 per cent pay cut.
