The FIFA Council made its decision this morning awarding joint hosting rights to Australia and New Zealand for the tournament in 2023.
Sky Stadium CEO Shane Harmon says it will create new jobs in these uncertain times.
He says it gives a lot of people in the industry something to look forward to and work towards for the next three years.
